Week 5 - LaTea Lounge

Before I get into this post, I want to say that going into this week, I was already extremely biased. I have some personal grudges against LaTea and I was not a fan of their drinks before. However, I was determined to give this place another chance. 

I ordered a jasmine green milk tea (they didn't have anything else that was close to a normal milk tea) with 50% sugar, no ice, and tapioca pearls. There were not many people but I still waited a good 10-15 minutes for my drink (I'm a little bit impatient at times). 

The drink itself was quite unimpressive. The tea was okay but it had a weird aftertaste and the bubbles were oddly rubbery. It didn't have the normal texture and consistency of what I think is a "good" tapioca pearl so this was a huge no for me. However, I will say that the price of this place is cheaper than other places. LaTea is the classic case of cheaper prices but lower quality. 

I give LaTea: 6/10 (I'm biased)
